So last week, I was blessed to work with Singer/Songwriter Waithera Chege. Most times when I meet gorgeous ladies with really striking features, I always picture in my head, how they’d look, If I ever got the chance to do their makeup.
We started off with a soft nude look. I tend to start off simple, and build up to bolder looks as I go.
For this look, I focused on brows and skin. I went with soft colours on her eyes and lips. Simple black eyeliner and lashes give the look some oomph.
So for the next look, we intensified the eyeliner to create a small wing, and switched up the lip colour.
For the final (and my favourite) look, we went with smokey eyes with a pop of colour and matte pink lipstick.

Eyes: Anastacia Beverly Hills brow wiz in ‘ebony’, LA girl pro concealer in ‘toast’. Morphe Bushes 35O eyeshadow palette (look 1 and 2), and 35U palette (look 3). Colourpop gel liner in ‘swerve’, Angel lashes (WSP).
Face: Mary Kay matte-wear foundation (bronze 6), Ben nye luxury powder in ‘clay’, Blush from the Beauty treats ‘matte blush’ palette.
Lips: Adama Cosmetics Lipglosses in ‘nearly naked’ (look 1), ‘fire engine’ (look 2), and matte lipstick in ‘blossom’ (look 3).
